Slashing Dashboard Load Times by 83% and Development Cycles by 67% via Qlik Sense On-Premise Migration

Challenges

Prior to the migration, the manufacturer's data ecosystem was constrained by architectural and software limitations:
‍

  • Outdated User Experience: The legacy features in QlikView hindered the delivery of a modern, intuitive analytics ecosystem for business users.
  • Lack of Augmented Intelligence: Advanced capabilities like AI-driven Insight Advisor, NLP-powered global search, and intelligent chart suggestions were unavailable, limiting interactive data exploration.
  • Sluggish Operations Analytics: Inefficiencies in the existing data model caused significant delays in Operations dashboard load times, reducing overall responsiveness.
  • Broken Reporting Pipelines: Frequent failures in NPrinting jobs, caused by an inefficient scheduling approach, created ongoing challenges in reliable report distribution.

‍

Solutions

We engineered a strategic migration and data model enhancement plan to transition the enterprise to a high-performance Qlik Sense On-Premise architecture.
‍

Key capabilities include:

  • Large-Scale Data Asset Migration: Migrated 400 QVDs from QlikView to Qlik Sense consisting of 35 extractors and 8 transformers, paired directly with extensive data model enhancements.
  • Dashboard Bifurcation Strategy: Implemented a strategic approach to bifurcate the monolithic Operations dashboard into 3 specialized applications: Logistics, Finance, and Operations.
  • Precision Data Model Pruning: Driven by the dashboard bifurcation, irrelevant tables were eliminated from the data model, directly leading to a massive reduction in load times.
  • UI/UX Enhancements & NPrinting Optimization: Successfully migrated the HR, MD, and Purchase dashboards along with 10 NPrinting reports, applying a 10% facelift for an improved user experience.

‍

Outcomes

The Qlik Sense On-Premise migration radically improved operational efficiency and the executive user experience:
‍

  • 83% Faster Dashboard Loads: Achieved an 83% reduction in dashboard load time, greatly enhancing the daily user experience.
  • 67% Faster Development Cycles: Secured a 67% reduction in time for new development by utilizing the Insight Advisor & Chart recommendation features in Qlik Sense.
  • 12% Quicker Report Delivery: Realized a 12% reduction in report distribution time to end users through optimized NPrinting scheduling.
  • Streamlined Operations: The organization significantly improved efficiency by reducing latency, accelerating new development, and ensuring reliable report distribution.

Slashing Dashboard Load Times by 83% and Development Cycles by 67% via Qlik Sense On-Premise Migration

October 16, 2026
India's largest aluminum die-casting company and leading 2- and 3-wheeler auto component manufacturer partnered with us to modernize its enterprise analytics experience. Relying on a legacy QlikView deployment, the organization suffered from outdated reporting features, severe dashboard latency, and unreliable automated reporting. To restore analytical agility, we executed a comprehensive QlikView to Qlik Sense On-Premise migration. By refactoring massive data models, bifurcating overloaded applications, and redesigning report distribution schedules, the new Qlik Sense environment empowers business users with GenAI tools, drastically faster load speeds, and highly reliable NPrinting reporting.
